How to Apply Beneficial Nematodes
1. Prepare the soil
- Water the area before application so the soil is moist (not dry or waterlogged).
- Nematodes move through moisture, so this step is important.
2. Mix the nematodes
- Empty the pack into a watering can or sprayer.
- Add water and stir well to distribute them evenly.
- Keep the mixture agitated (stir occasionally) so they dont settle.
3. Apply immediately
- Pour or spray evenly over the soil where pests are present.
- Apply in the evening or on a cloudy day (UV light can kill them).
4. Water them in
- Lightly water the area again after application.
- This helps wash the nematodes into the soil where pests are.
5. Keep soil moist
- For the next 710 days, keep the soil damp so they can survive and work.
