Crystals, when added to clean water, preparesand etches concrete, masonry, brick, stone,stucco and tile walls prior to painting.Removes efflorescence (alkaline, salt-likedeposits), mortar stains & form-oil residue.Not for use on horizontal surfaces since maycause staining.
Surface Preparation:
Remove dirt, dust, grease & oil from surfaceby washing with household detergent usingstiff brush. Rinse thoroughly.
Application Guidelines:
Wear rubber gloves, goggles & protectiveclothing. Keep product off plants/shrubs.
Mixing:
Using clean, warm water in clean container,add Damtite Concrete Cleaner crystals & stir.Add 12 ounce (340 grams) bottle to gallon(1.9 liters) of water to etch, or 1 gallon (3.78liters) of water to remove efflorescence &clean mortar
Application:
Scrub into surface with stiff or wire brush.Rinse thoroughly with clean water after 20-30minutes.
