The filter is for use with the built-in side-by-side refrigerators with ice and water dispensers. It is a replacement for the water filter cartridges supplied. The filter reduces sediment taste and odor. It also reduces cysts, particulates, turbidity, lead, chlorine, atrazine and lindane.
