The Slingshot recumbent trike, offered by South Coast Cruzers, is three wheels of pure adrenaline and excitement.
Designed for extreme fun for both kids and adults, it is a recumbent trike with an adjustable, quick release seat for riders from 46 to 66. This trike has no equal, from its aluminum alloy mag wheels and upgraded and improved foam molded comfortable seats (vs the previous vinyl covered seats)to itsrearcoaster brakes (single orfive speed).
Recumbent trikes are fun and easy to ride. Because of the long wheel base and three wheels, the Slingshot does not require any ability to balance. Making the ride even better is the recumbent position, sitting low to the ground and behind the pedals. The recumbent riding position allows the rider to use the backrest to leverage against when pedaling. Its like pedaling while sitting in a comfortable chair!
The Slingshot trike comes in either a single speed or new 5 speed option.
