The Clara XXL planter is crafted from Corten steel, a high-quality carbon steel specially treated to form a protective surface layer that makes it highly weather-resistant. When new, the surface has a soft grey tone. Over time, exposure to the elements transforms it into a rich reddish-brown patina reminiscent of natural rust, which gradually deepens in colour.
When used as intended, Corten steel is expressive, durable, and virtually maintenance-free. Designed to age gracefully, the Clara XXL planter stands the test of time, gaining unique character through natural weathering.

Please note -
Corten steel products are delivered untreated. When new, the surface appears grey, similar to standard hot-rolled steel. Over time, exposure to the elements creates the characteristic protective patina. Seasoning instructions are available on our website or can be accessed by scanning the code on the product.
Corten steel planters are suitable for year-round outdoor use and do not require indoor storage.
