- Vacuum regularly. To clean spills on a rug, blot as much of the stain as possible with a clean cloth, then use mild soap and water to clean the area. Rug and carpet cleaners that are safe for synthetic materials may also be used sparingly, in a small, inconspicuous area first to test results before applying to the entire rug. Finally, blot dry with a clean cloth.
- The use of a rug pad is recommended; initial creasing is normal, and these will generally fall out within a few days to a week; tightly reversing rolling the rug (pile side out) and leaving in warm area for several hours will aid in the removal of creases or lingering fold marks as well
